Three days

Day 1

Date: 27/6/11 (Mon)

Time: 9:00-16:00

Duties:

The staff took a round with us about the venue and people we need to work and cooperate. Also, they explained more about the duties of job, such as the division of the labor within different parks, the material needs we should prepare for the job, the future plan of LCSD about tree-database, etc. Apart from the work of park, the part of swimming pool we knew more than before. They arranged us to practice how to check the public enrollment forms. They also asked us when would be free to experience being helper of training swimming program that let us learn more from different duties.

Special Remarks:

The staff is nice and they are willing to help us a lot.

Day 2

Date: 28/6/11 (Tue)

Time: 9:00-16:00

Duties:

The staff let us try to join the “lucky draw” of training swimming programs for open public. We learnt the process of drawing from a staff that is keen to teach us a lot. Even though no one (public) came to “visit” us in the rainy day, we treated each step seriously. After the draw, we helped to prepare the material (constitutions) of swimming competition and the numbering of tree labels after lunch.

Special Remarks:

It’s a rainy day. I learn how to use laminator and the related safety-rules.

Day 3

Date: 29/6/11 (Wed)

Time: 9:00-16:00

Duties:

“Lucky draw” again. Kept on going about the draw of training swimming programs. The only difference between two-day is that an audience intended our drawing and took a look about our operation. After drawing, we joined the other preparation part of these programs that is “fold envelops” for sending the lucky ones. Back to the field of P&P, we kept to product the tree-number cards with skills of cutting, laminating and computer using.

Special Remarks:

It’s also a rainy day. I am used to work with my new friends (group members they are from IVE too) in a new environment (including the atmosphere, culture and time table).
