Joining ABE day-camp of Whole Person Development yesterday was a really tired time for me, but it was a perfect experience for me at the same time.
I woke up at 4:45, it was a crazy time that I never did before in order to an activity. After prepared well and I went out at 6:00am. As usual, I was not late! Three groups were arranged by Miss Courtney when we were on the touring car and I was divided to a group without my closer friends. It was one of the challenges that I needed to face on that day. I need to be really active to join the game because the scores will be marked by the teachers from my performance of game.
But I was really really lucky that from the first game I made a new friend, Maggie, a very nice girl, and then we encountered the following different games together.
At that day, although the sun was so shine and we felt very hot, we really enjoyed the special activity from the games designed by the professional person. We have walked around 1 hour and climbed at least
From this activity, I was so tired and we all were dried in the sun for a long time, but we were so happy that not only a lot of funs and friendship were earned, but also some experiences and skills were learnt.
Every one tried their best to join the game together. Even though we could not earn the highest marks in this game, we have been the best team in my mind. Each one played their own roles and tried to bring out their own characters from different posts within the team that made more colors in a simple game, even in a simple life.

The afternoon of Ma On Shan
These days have lots of things happened. The CE result Day, our trip to Ma On Shan and today, the Cleaning Ground Offer.
4/8 is the day of receiving the CE result, my friend-Ka
7/8 is the day of our trip to Ma On Shan (MOS) with Elsa and Ka Po. Even though the CE result Day could not leave a good memory to Ka Po, this time can do it well. We visited the shopping center as well as park here and there are really nice, especially the small exhibition of “留馬仔” in the shopping center and the good atmosphere of the beach in the park. For the small exhibition, Ka Po and I were very adolescent to take pictures everywhere, for example, the figure (height as a real person) and the broad information of the cantons.
We really enjoyed the afternoon atmosphere of the park in MOS. There are really really nice of the sundown and the view is really good. Elsa and Ka Po played with the others’ pets (dog and dog and dog) and they were so happy to take a host of pictures with them. But for me, I prefer the beautiful view of sundown and the architectures alongside the sea. The soft wind and nice weather made me more enjoy the atmosphere and the feeling. It is soooooo good!!!
11/8, I still stay at home and do not want to do the other things. However, I receive an e-mail which is told me that I have an offer from Jupas in the Cleaning Ground Offer. I was so surprised that I can have an offer which is HD in Poly U. Owing to the enrolment of me in IVE, I am confused which one I should choose. I go to ask the comment of Lin Sir immediately and hope can find what I should do from his idea. Fortunately, Lin Sir is so great and he told me a lot of information about the new course from the Jupas offer. He analyzed to me between these courses and told me what I will face in the future. Thank him so much, he even asked me “Do you want to ask the other teachers’ comments?”. Oh, he is a great, helpful and warm-hearted teacher!!! THX a lot!!!

Having a pet can instead of your children?
There are a host of information and data shown that the birth rate of the city is going down, more and more families choose to be childless and have a pet as their family member instead. However, a special question occurs: A dog, a cat, even a fish, can they really replace a human actually?
It is no doubt that having a pet as our family member can bring some positive aspects. One of the vital reasons that the family chose a pet instead of a kid is the problem of future. Under the society wit financial distress, every family must have the pressure of the financial problem. A study showed that cultivating a child needs HK$4,000,000! It is not an easy thing for the normal, even low-income family. But now, people are afraid that whether being an unemployed or not tomorrow, they have no confidence to offer the best living environment to their children. Therefore, having a pet instead of the kid is not a bad idea.
In addition, the family does not need to pay more attention and care on the pet’s future. In

If more and more people choose to have a pet as their family member, the valuable culture the pet cannot keep and treasure. Moreover, having a pet cannot make you be a real-parent. Although you can cultivate a pet as your child, it is a thing that you never are a real-parent at all. Being a parent is that you can enjoy the happiness of taking care of the baby, teaching them to be a useful person. You can teach them how to eat, use the tool and toys and one of the important things is to teach them how to say “Papa, Mama”. Even though you can enjoy the fun with pets, you never can expect your pets to talk something, to share something with you. Nevertheless, being a real-parent, you can look forward to your children’s growing up, wearing the school uniform, saying Good morning to you every day. Those can not be real when you choose a pet being your children forever.
Also, it is a great physical difference between a human and a pet. You must be very worried about your member when you are the one of the family. And it is not surprised that the live of a pet have to be shorter than a human without any accidents. While the pet dies first, you and your family must be very upset. For this case, being a member of family, you should not want your child to leave you. Thus, having a pet instead of your own children in the family is negative.
All in all, having a pet as your own children in the family has two side aspects actually. For the positive one, the cost of cultivating a pet is lower and the master does not need to worry the pet’s future all the time. For the negative one that the master cannot feel the real feeling of being a parent and the culture of human would be disappeared.

Cantonese Opera in music lesson

I am writing to express my opinions about the suggestion of incorporating the traditional art form into music lessons. The colorful and intricate art form rooted in southern China has been declared part of the Intangible Culture Heritage of Humanity by the United Culture. Now that the art of Cantonese opera is recognized globally, I hope we Hongkongers can make use of the status and develop it, and let it become a fossil. Fortunately, Cantonese opera has been advised to incorporate into our music lessons recently, so I would like to discuss the advantages and disadvantages about the program here.
The proposal to incorporate Cantonese opera into our music lessons is an essential part of our cultural heritage. Cantonese opera is the most indigenous and traditional performing art in Hong Kong, but locals don’t know how to treasure it. Cantonese opera is under threat actually. If we do not get our next generation involved in trying to preserve Cantonese opera, it is a precious part of our cultural heritage that will be lost. Instead of intending the scheme to boost the audience of Cantonese opera, we hope that it can continue the legacy left by our ancestors. And now, it is a good time and reason for the historical art form to reach out to a wider audience. Therefore, in order to keep and transmit this valuable art form to our next generation, more efforts should be made to preserve it.
Moreover, through this plan, the students will benefit from on-the-spot demonstrations by opera maestros. Nowadays, many young people do not try to appreciate the art and often blindly follow Western arts that limit their development of all sides. In fact, the education process at school should enable students to learn more about themselves as they develop. And now, there is a golden opportunity for pupils to gain knowledge about something they would not normally come across. For instance, the younger an artist could receive training, the higher the chances of them becoming a great performer. Also, they can learn how to appreciate Cantonese opera. Hence, this is an opportunity for students to broaden their horizons and to experience a more traditional art form.
In addition, studying Cantonese opera will give Hong Kong students a greater sense of belongings to the nation. Chinese culture means very little to some youngsters in Hong Kong. However, by this proposal, it can offer students professional Cantonese opera training in their teens is a good idea. This will help them more about the unique culture of China. What is more, learning more about our country’s culture, it is easier for us to see ourselves as being genuinely Chinese. Being a Chinese also has our responsibility to conserve our tradition.
Of course, this proposal has disadvantages for different related people. And the greatest one is the students. The Western art form is very popular among most of the new generation who think that the art form like Chinese opera is not interesting at all. Although some of them are interested in it, they are worried about the cost of further study which is not cheap for the low-income family.
Furthermore, in Hong Kong, it is lack of chances of performance for students to show their training results that the students may be lack of sense of satisfaction about scant opportunity. Even though the situation may be improved after the new plan implementing, the deep rooted thought is not easy to change. These are the difficulties among the Hong Kong students.

Some even make this form of prostitution seem normal and glamorous. They made friends only and found someone who made them feel loved. In the busy city as Hong Kong, most parents lack time with their children and take little attention to them. The kids did not feel loved and then they asked help as well as love outside. Besides, most people have gotten lost in the material oriented society, including the kids and the teenagers. Compensated dating is a way to make quick cash easily. I am the Chairperson of the Environmental Protection Club at my school. I am writing to voice my concern on the problem of climate change which gets serious recently. The measure of fighting against climate change is necessary for both government and individuals. Therefore, I would like to suggest some methods to save the world from the looming crisis.
The rising temperature is the evidence of global warming that makes the sea level climb between 7 and 23 inches. The greenhouse gas emissions from factory, transport and generation of electricity are the main reason of global warming. Hence, many national leaders are expected to unveil plans of reducing the emissions, such as cutting carbon dioxide emissions with lots of developing nations. All countries reach a consensus and then carry out effective cooperation in deep cutting of global emissions.
Burning fossil fuel to be electric power is one of the big reasons of the climbing temperatures in the world. They are burning coal and oil, even forest to get the energy for developing a more modern country. However, more gases will be discharged to the atmosphere exacerbating the effect of global warming. Many countries set the goal for raising the proportion of renewable energy instead of the old methods, like solar energy. China is a tremendous example on energy efficiency and pollution control, which provides incentives to green consumers and green services. She has taken the road to an eco-friendly economy on balancing the national interest and curbing climate change.
In fact, increasing the awareness of global warming among the residents is also an important step of combating climate change. For example, in Hong Kong, the government has introduced plastic-bag levy urging people to bring their own bags to shopping. Carfree Day is a useful way to promote the sense of protecting the earth too. The government officials’ participation can set a role model for the public that it can let more residents play more attention on the worsening climate phenomenon.

In our daily life, we can follow the “3R” method to tackle climate change that they are “Reducing to waste”, “Reusing the useful materials” and “Recycling the recyclable”. For instance, paper can be printed two-sided or drafted and drawn on the empty side. At last, the waste paper can be recycled as well.
Besides, using public transport instead of motor vehicles on traffic can help to cut the gas emissions, such as MTR. Also, you should fly only when you really have to because air traffic is on the top of the league of climate-killers. At the same time, buying local products is better than choosing the other places’ product in order to cut down goods traffic and the need of heating greenhouses.
Under the goal of slashing the use of energy to product the earth, buying the most energy-efficient product is really helpful to save energy. Electric appliances should be turned off when they do not need to operate. Moreover, in most of the countries, installing solar collectors in their houses, working places and public place of entertainment can drop the pay of the electricity. At the same time, it can take a good contribution for the environment and promoting the importance of saving energy.
Actually, no matter who the responsibility should be shoulder, the cooperation is needed between you and me, country and country. Take action as soon as possible. The quicker the action is, the easier the problem can be dealt with.

My Recent
I have not written anymore here in a long time. The biggest reason is that I have not enough time to write something in English here. Writing in English is quite difficult for me in the past, of course, now the problem is still live.
Today I would like to write a new one here because I want to record my feelings during the time when I do not need to go to school. Because of H1N1, the school has called all of us that we do not go to school except something emergencies, so I just can stay at home and play the computer all the time. Actually I am very happy and delighted that I can obtain the extra holiday for relaxing myself, however, when I stay at home after 3 days, I have felt the life is very boring!!! I cannot accept the boring day after the hard school life. The differences are extremely big and large! Although I enjoy that I can sleep until after 12:00 everyday, I still feel so tried of the life. I cannot learn more about the academic knowledge that is really important for my A-L exam. I always feel that I am wasting my time on the other useless thing which should not emerge in my life now.
Even though I feel I am wasting a lot of time on the unhelpful activities, I spend some time on my favorite tennis player-Roger Federer. Since he won the competition in Paris, I have been his one of fans in FaceBook, it is so cool!! I cannot wait watching his next competition in United Kingdom, it must be the other awesome show. I believe myself, I believe him.

“Radio will fade away and will be entirely replaced by television.” Do you agree? Write an article giving three reasons for your standpoint.
What do you think about radio? Is it old, unpopular or obsolete? Most people have the same thought as to it. But, is it really worthless in the world? Actually, radio has its own special worth and we cannot discover merely.
When you cannot sleep at midnight, what will you do? Would you drink a cup of milk, watch the television or listen on the radio? For the elderly, because of their habit they would choose the last one at the first time. In 1950-1970s, television is no longer popular between the normal families, and radio is their only entertainment to spend their time. Therefore, radio has an important position in their heart. What is more, this position is not replaced by television easily.
From the point of the younger, radio maybe is not a fashion, but it is by not means they ignore this mass medium in their life. Every year each Form Five students have to face a test - HKCEE. Almost they are so worried and nervous about their examination, especially when they stay in the exam-hall. However, radio is provided a gate to relax their mood. When the candidates wear the headphone before the exam, they can hear the encouragement saying by DY through the radio. Not only it can help the candidates to relieve the anxious emotion, but also it has a particular function that television cannot do it.
Perhaps, some people think that radio will be replaced by television entirely as it cannot provide more enjoyments to audience such as a colorful screen. Certainly, without a screen it cannot show the situation completely when some accidents happen. Nevertheless, without a screen we can focus the voice more devotedly. For instance, you can enjoy and listen on the music more heartily. But when you watch the television, you would take some attention on the pop-singer singing. It cannot enjoy the voice truly! That is why, I deem that radio cannot be thoroughly replaced by television.

The 2008 Presidential Election
Q:Barack Obama and John McCain are the 2008 US Presidential candidates. Whom would you cast a vote for if you were an American? Write an article stating your preference with three logical reasons.
I choose Obama. Why?
The 2008 US Presidential Election is coming soon. Candidates Obama and McCain are eager to win this election very much. It will be an exciting election because of two exceptional candidates. One may be the oldest President, one may be the first African-American US President. Both candidates show their different personal style and promote their own ideas and suggestions to attract the voters’ attention and gain their supports’ votes. Personally, I support Obama to be the new President based on the following reasons.
In the world, the top buzz must be the financial crisis, and now, America maybe is facing the biggest difficulties of economy. Of course. It must be the first problem for the new president to solve, so I prefer to focus on their policies of solving this serious problem. McCain suggests reducing the tax to shoulder the mortgages of the American. On the other hand, Obama would like to provide tax incentives for companies and create more jobs for the residents. Both policies have their reasons, but I deem that the second one is better than the first one because the first one just give some money to the residents but it cannot solve the problem actually. However, Obama’s ideas can solve the root of problem. It is workable than the other suggestion.
Second, their images also are very important to me to choose which one to be the President. McCain is an experienced candidate who was also a presidential candidate in 2000, but lost the nomination to George W. Bush. McCain has a host of experience on war as well as he was called “hero” by American. Nevertheless, he is an out-dated hero. Now, America is encountering the biggest crisis of finance. It cannot make use of “experience” only to solve the problem. The Americans need confidence to fight against this crisis. And Obama, who is a young as well as energetic person, has a special power to lead the whole America to face this difficulty. What is more, most Americans think the same with me as well.
The last reason for me to deem that Obama is the better choice to be the US President on account of his vice presidential – Joe Biden. He was born in November 20, 1942 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He currently is the chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations, which reviews matters related to foreign policy including treaties, national security initiatives and humanitarian assistance. These foreign policies offer the confidence to me and the whole American. But McCain’s vice president – Palin, who has a list of bad news to affect and reduce our confidence in the future of America. Therefore, I prefer Obama to be the President.
In short, although Obama is a African-American people, his policies, image and the choice of vice-president are suitable for America and her residents. He shows his capability in this election. Also, I believe that he can do better than McCain and bring new change to America and make it better. That is my reason why I choose Obama to be the next US resident.

Dream class?
Recently, I was so lazy to update the blog. Not why, it’s because I am a lazy person. Tomorrow is a big day, which is my start of F.6 study. It will be very busy for me to learn the new things. I choose Computer to study this year that is a new challenge for me. This subject is taught by Mr. Ma (偉建老師) in English. Although he is a great teacher, I am still afraid that I can not handle it well. Lots of friends told me that do not be afraid and they all believe that I can learn it well, but my fear is not only this one......
The second choices of subject is Accounting which is also a big challenge for me. My CE result of Accounting is not so good, that means I have not enough ability to deal with this difficult work. I need to work so hard this year and I would not waste any time in the future. That also means I will have a very hard life......
At last, the most difficult subject for me is English. This subject will be taught by a new teacher who is so strange to me. I really do not know any thing about her, and I am so worried that if she is a severe person, I would be very pain in this coming two years.
Is 6A a dream class? Or......?
The second choices of subject is Accounting which is also a big challenge for me. My CE result of Accounting is not so good, that means I have not enough ability to deal with this difficult work. Recently, a lot of students study very hard for the CE, I also am. We were so busy that nearly do not meet at that time. But I think my care and encouragement could send you because that all is my heartfelt blessing.
And the last CE is to test Putonghua which is a subject that I don’t like very much! However, my best friend who is Ling Ling, will test this subject tomorrow. I also want you can try your best to face this examination. I will bless you when you test the exam tomorrow. So, add oil, I have to support you every time and everywhere . After CE.....??

We have to face the other big challenges after the MOCK that is CE. Well, the feeling is not so bad, but it would not is happy. It is because CE is a big challenge that would be very hard to do it. On the other hand, I will have a long, lovely and free holiday after the CE test. I can make use of this holiday to implement my reading program. I have to read my lovely fiction such as Harry Potter 7 and Q版特工which is my favorable books! Also, I have asked my friends to borrow some comics and atlas(圖解集) which have lots of pictures to recommend you some information.
That must be a rich and funny holiday. I am looking forward to enjoying. But I also know that if I want to enjoin that happy time, I would make more and more effort to face the CE test because I need pass the exam, then I would have my happy time.
So, all 5A student, no, all students who would test the CE exam, don’t say giving up, and try your best to face the challenge. We strive the goal together!!

Peter Poon
I do not review well of my homework in this Chinese New Year, but I found out the other special thing through a Taiwanese music program which calls 「Super Star Road」（超級星光大道）. This program is about 100 persons who joined a large-scale competition in order to get a contract only. If he/she can obtain this contract that can be a singer and issues his/her personal disk record. That is a seldom opportunity! So a lot of people also tried to enter this competition and used their beautiful voice to touch everyone.
We can find out several stars from this program such as 楊宗緯, his voice has a special element to attract listener. However, I prefer Peter Poon (潘裕文)’s sound because I can feel his deep, strong and powerful emotion from his songs which is so wonderful and marvelous! In addition, his voice is also soft and attractive. It is worth hearing numerous times. Listening his music at night is an enjoyable action. So try it.

Our seat-Part 2
Today is Elsa's birthday; it is also our 'moving day' . First I would like to say 'Happy Birthday' to Elsa and want she can enjoy today happily. I sent two loving dolls which are bear and rabbit. I hope she would like them......
The second important thing is our 'moving day'. Miss Harriet moved our seat in the morning of English lesson. I was moved a new seat which is not a good location for listening teacher's speech because there are very noisy!! From my exacting standards, this seat is unqualified.

Miss Harriet wanted to change our seat yesterday. A lot of people also want to sit Elsa and Koey's seats. Maybe their seat view are so good, so many classmates want to sit it. Although some of them are very expected of changing seats, I do not want to change my seat surely because my seat is the first line of the classroom. I like my seat very much even though my side of classmate does not like it.
I think the best seat of classroom must have these conditions:

One month...
The time is as fast as a shuttle, it have been a month of F.5. I still remembered that I could not sleep at night when the eve of open school day. That night I was nervous and worried about the future. I could not sleep well actually. But it has been one month since that day. It is so surprised of me because I really do not think that F.5 life is so hard and difficult. Although I expected that early, I did not know is how arduous. And I am very lucky I can continue a span and really really want to thank a lot to my friends who supported and helped me. I must remind myself every time and everywhere to thank my lovely friends.
Even though F.5 lesson is so hard, we would be hard-working and make the greatest effort to try our best. We would believe ourselves who can create wonder with our effort. So we...... go go go ... go to practice the Geography, Econ, Eng, Chinese, Maths. Don't be lazy, let't go. (I have already been crazy... ><)
